Twitcy Eyes Staring Into the Skies

I was feeling really good about today until about twenty minutes ago. I got a phone call that just mind**cked me and I'm just annoyed. That's life though, one curveball after another though. I just never understand how grown ass adult who've lived longer lives than I have continue to judge me for falling in love and having a kid and then turning around a blaming me when the father abandons us. That's just a cross I refuse to carry around my entire life.

Now onto more positive stuff!

I made some more headway with this novel!!! The end is near!

My bone dr adjusted my medication to help combat the spasms, aching and random inability to walk I've been dealing with the past month or so. She was really nice this time. And she was wearing these killer boots today too.

Today Ezra and I got caught up on his January homework packet and practiced his handwriting. We tapped out some words. I let him practice forming his own words with our magnetic board. He's slowly coming to realize that most if not all words contain a vowel and if there is no vowel it's a nonsense word. It was cute watching him figure that out. Tomorrow is our sight word extravaganza and I caught him practicing for it before bed. The prize is 45 minutes of free time (DS or computer reading games) OR a snack of his choice without me whining about it. I'm gonna quiz him on ALL of his sight words with the exception of the new ones I just added last week. Unless he asks me to add those in again.

I just started planning out his Black History Month homeschool stuff. I want to do something different from last year. I'm gonna talk to his teacher and see what they are doing at school. It will probably be something that will irk my soul, so I will do something different. I'm gonna look at the cards we've got and see if there's anything related to trains since we are digging trains still. And Maybe see if there is anything cooking related since we are back on our cooking spiel. I want to keep it interest motivated so that he stays curious. Oh and I'm reading Michelle Obama's book "Becoming" to him and his stuffed bear, "bear bear". I already picked out a poetry book to read for the month so unless I find something better that book will be it.

Anywho, here's some photos from "school"

If you made it this far MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 23 DAYS!
